Pluma "Peggy" Driggers Osborne Myrtle Beach Mrs. Peggy Osborne, age 93, of Myrtle Beach died March 3, 2011 at Grand Strand Healthcare. Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New Town Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Born in Williamsburg County, she was a daughter of the late Mac Duffie Driggers and Martha Miles Driggers. Mrs. Osborne retired from Campbell's Soup Company. She was a member of New Town Free Will Baptist Church, which was established on land donated by her family. She formerly resided in Maggie Valley, North Carolina where she volunteered at Heywood County Hospital Auxiliary and was a member of the Homemaker's Club. Mrs. Osborne was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert A. Osborne. An infant son, Herbert Osborne, Jr. Surviving are five daughters; Jacqueline (Jeff Heal) Bowen of Atlanta, Georgia, Joanne (Hoyt) Graham of Myrtle Beach, Jeannette (Dan) Duke of Kingstree, Janice (Richard) Harkins of Foley, Alabama, and Judi (Lloyd) Coppedge of Myrtle Beach. Ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
