'Buster' Coker age 88, of Columbia and formerly of Turbeville, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Millennium Post Acute and Rehab. The family will receive friends at Floyd Funeral Home in Olanta for 1 hour prior to the graveside service. FUNERAL SERVICES HAVE CHANGED, DUE TO WEATHER, SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT FLOYD FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL IN OLANTA AT 2 O'CLOCK PM Born in Clarendon County he was a son of the late Archie Nelson Coker and Minnie Gaton Turbeville Coker. He was retired from Wright Johnson's as a salesman and seamstress, where he made uniforms for police officers in the state of South Carolina, and he was a member of The First Baptist Church in Columbia. He is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Sue Harris Coker; a sister, Eleanor Rush; three brothers, Waymon Coker, Edwin Coker, and Archie Coker. Surviving are a daughter, Tasca Cecelia (Brian Lee) Whitaker of Columbia; two sisters, Mattie Ruth Lee of Olanta, and Tasca Boddenheimer of West Columbia.
