Rayford Floyd Effingham Rayford Floyd, age 46, died January 11, 2011 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Friday, January 14, 2011 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation being held 2 hours prior to the funeral service. Born in Florence County, he was a son of Mrs. Faye Lee Thigpen Floyd and the late Jack Walter Floyd. He was preceded in death by his father. A nephew, Rickie Floyd, Jr. A sister-in-law, Tammy Renee Floyd. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Franklin Floyd of Lake City. A daughter, Heather Danielle Morris of Timmonsville. A fianc, Donna Sealy of Effingham. Two sisters, Cynthis Floyd Corley of Myrtle Beach and Brenda Lee Powers of Lake City. Four brothers, Rickie Floyd of Timmonsville, Roger Allen Floyd of Florence, Robert Watson (Janie) of Conway, and Calip Allen Floyd of Lake City. His dog, "Skeeter".
