Rhonda McElveen Rhonda May McElveen, age 38, died Saturday, August 31, 2019 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence after an illness. Services will be held at 4 PM Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Lake City Memorial Park, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Floyd Funeral Home, and the family will recieve friends and visitors at 1121 Powell Circle in Turbeville. Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Gordon A. Phalen and Valerie J. Peppard Phalen. She is preceded in death by her parents, Step-father, Curtis Anderson, a brother, Greg Phalen, one aunt, Victoria Porter. She is survived by a daughter, Moriah McElveen and a son Van McElveen both of Turbeville; One sister, Tina (Timmy) Poston of Scranton; Two brothers, Gorden (April) Phalen of Jacksonville, N.C., Larry (Kellee) Phalen of North, S.
