Richard "Ricky" Durette Coker

Richard 'Ricky' Durette Coker Manning - Richard Durette Coker age 60, of the Wyboo Community in Manning, died October 28, 2017 at his home after an illness. Ricky grew up on Lucky Road in Barrineau. Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock PM Tuesday, October 31, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Monday at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church. Born in Florence County, he was the eldest son of the late Dannie 'Lucky' Coker and Shirley Daniels Coker. Mr. Coker was retired from RWF Construction Company. Ricky's little piece of paradise allowed him to not only soak in the serenity of lake life, but also catch up on Barrineau life as well. Sitting on his porch with his faithful, four-legged companion, 'Sassy' watching the birds, alligators and fish fulfilled Ricky's love for the outdoors. The highlight of his day was when he would spot a Barrineau fisherman, and get caught up with the news from home. He was preceded in death by a son, Scotty Durette Coker. Surving are his wife, Angela Easler Coker of Manning, a son, Richard Bryce Coker of Lake City, two sisters, Sheila (Andy) Cole of Wake Forest, NC, and Michelle (Chuck) Easler of Greeleyville, a brother, Daniel Vincent 'Vince' (Judi) Coker of Lake City, a grandson, Liam Coker.
