Robert Carlisle Coker, III Turbeville - Robert "Rob" Carlisle Coker, III age 61, died February 1, 2019, after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Pine Grove United Methodist Church in Turbeville, with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary immediately following the committal service, and other times at 1821 Brandon Drive, Florence and 929 New Zion Road in Lake City. Born in Clarendon County, he was the son of the late Robert Carlisle Coker, Jr. and Janie Lee Coker. He was a Master Electrician, a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, a charter member of The Puddin Swamp Singers, inducted into the F. E. DuBose Graduates Hall of Fame, and an avid outdoorsman and taxidermist. Surviving are his wife, Shannon Melton Coker of Lake City, a son, Robert "Cyle" (Alison) Carlisle Coker, IV, of Union, two step children, Savannah Floyd and Ashton Floyd of Lake City, two sisters, Debby (Randy) Thames of Florence, and Patsy (Mike) Rose of Summerville, two grandchildren Cade and Hannah Cali Coker both of Union, and his beloved dog, Pup Pup.
