Robert "Bobby" Warren Cole

Robert "Bobby" Cole Olanta- Robert Warren "Bobby" Cole age 88, died November 18, 2012 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Tuesday November 20, 2012 at Olanta Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:30 until the time of service at Olanta Baptist Church on Tuesday. Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Franklin Carl Cole and Betsy McFadden Cole. He was a retired U. S. Mail Star Route Carrier, a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, a member of VFW, Olanta American Legion Post, D.A.V., a Mason, and was a member of Olanta Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Hancock Cole. Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Irvin of Norwood, N.C., a son, Charles Cole of Olanta, a sister, Pearl Bell of Lane, a granddaughter, Julie Creighton, and a great-granddaughter, Taylor Rogers.
