SUMTER – Roseann Kay Miller DuBose, 66, wife of Willie Joe DuBose, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021, at Prisma Health Tuomey after an illness. Born May 11, 1955, in Estherville, IA, she was a daughter of the late James Albert Miller and the late Barbara Joann Kathman Miller. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by her husband of 48 years; one daughter, Victoria Burgess DuBose of Sumter; three grandchildren, Quincy DuBose, Curtis DuBose, and Devon DuBose; two great grandchildren, Diamond Johnson and Pearl Johnson; two brothers, Dwayne Miller (Linda) of Spencer, IA and Jimmy Miller (Carol) Esterville, IA; two sisters, Barbara Miller McQueen (Tony) of Lynchburg, TN and Lisa Miller Harris (Denny) of Graettinger, IA; a close friend, Stephanie Johnson; and two nieces, Janet McClam and Heather Stotts of Telehoma, TN; and also a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Billy Joe DuBose. A funeral service will be held 2 P.M. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at New Town Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Harry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
