Roy Layne Black

Roy Layne Black Olanta- Roy Layne Black age 57, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at a Sumter hospital after an illness. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Nazareth United Methodist Church. Born in Charlotte, NC, he was a son of the late Robert Lewis Black, Jr. and Jeanette Yount Black. He was a disabled veteran of the US Marines and a member of Nazareth United Methodist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Danielle Black, Rebecca (Billy) Yates, and Kristy Hayes, four grandchildren, Augusta and Tyler Hayes, William and Abbigail Yates. Also surviving are his three sisters Mary Jeannette Davis, Martha Lorraine Black, and Marsha Ann Voelker.
