Roy Gene Broach

Timmonsville Mr. Roy Gene Broach, age 56, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 after an illness. A funeral service will be held at 4:30pm on Sunday, September 17th at Unity Christian Fellowship, with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. A visitation will be held Saturday, September 16th from 6-8pm at Floyd Funeral Home. Born in Florence County, he was a son of the late Noah Broach and Bertha Lynch Broach. He was retired from Riverside Electric Motors. He was preceded in death by his father, Noah Broach. Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Miles of Timmonsville; a son, Johnny Miles of Timmonsville; two sisters, Robin Jones of New Zion, and Jody Cook of Kingstree; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
