Ruby Stewart Tomlinson

Ruby Stewart Tomlinson Mrs. Ruby Annie Lee Stewart Tomlinson, age 95, died September 29, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Tomlinson was born December 13, 1915 in Lee County, a daughter of the late Charles A. Stewart and Lou Addie Price Stewart. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church for many years, and later of Faith Bible Church. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a loving mother, aunt, and a great cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Tomlinson, her sisters, Mattie (Dave) McClam, Bertha (Harley) Trimnal, and brothers, Marion (Sallie) Stewart, Lonnie Stewart, Theo (Beulah) Stewart, Jimmy D. Stewart, and Chalmers (Almerta) Stewart. She is survived by four sons, Everett (Elvira)Tomlinson of Marietta, Ga, Von (Sandy) Tomlinson of Sumter, James (Diane) Tomlinson of Lugoff, and Leon Tomlinson of the home. Grandchildren, Chris, Chad, Paul, Stephen, Jay, and Kyle Tomlinson. Several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Two special caregivers, Judy Davis and Virginia Gandy. Memorials may be made to Tuomey Healthcare Hospice c/o The Tuomey Foundation, 115 N. Sumter Street Suite 120, Sumter, SC 29150 or Faith Bible Church 1640 Trinity Road, Lynchburg, SC 29080. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Sunday at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel in Olanta. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home on Sunday.
