Funeral services will be 3pm Saturday, March 1st, 2014 at Beulah Free Will Baptist Church with burial in Broad Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held from 7-9 pm Friday (tonight) February 28, 2014. Born in Florence County, he was a son of the late Eugene Broad and Eloise Lee Broad. He was employed as a machinist with International Knife & Saw, Inc. and attended Beulah Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Sherrill Lynch Broad of the home, a daughter, Brittney Broad (Chris Coker) of Scranton, a step daughter, Tiffany Smith of Coward, a step son, Brent Poston (Jill) of Coward, four sisters, Patricia Hubbard (Emmanuel), Betty Jean McGee (Carlisle), Elizabeth Driggers and Ruthie Broad all of Scranton. Four grandchildren, and the mother of his child, Joyce Broad.
