Samuel Tony Knight Lake City Samuel Tony Knight age 57, died November 28, 2015 in a Lake City hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at St. John United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 PM Monday at Floyd Funeral Home in Olanta. Born in El Paso, Texas, he was a son of Sam Knight, Jr. and Shirley Ann Green Knight. He was retired from Superior Machine Shop and was a member of St. John United Methodist Church. Surviving besides his parents of Lake City, are his wife, Darlene Floyd Knight of Lake City, two daughters, Haley (Brian) Wilkes of Lake City, and Courtney (Jason) Bryant of Turbeville, Sisters, Paula Matthews of Coward, Cindy (David) Floyd of New Zion, and Robin (Rev. Johnny) Nettles of Lake City. Three grandchildren, B. J. Wilkes, Raylen Samuel Wilkes, and Emsley Faith Bryant. Memorials may be made to St. John United Methodist Church 619 S.
