Shelby Jean Bell

SCRANTON - Shelby Jean Gray Bell, 78 , entered her eternal rest on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Lake Marion Nursing Facility . Born August 1st, 1945, in Lake City, she was a daughter of the late James Dudley Gray and the late Lenease Coker Gray . She was a member of Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is survived by her son, Marion R. (Kristin) Coker, Jr of Cope; one grandson, Cameron Coker, of Cope; two sisters, Lila Mae Hanna of Lake City and Ann (Terry) Dennis of Scranton; two sisters-in-law, Ginnie Gray and Joyce Gray; and several much-loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Evelyn Gray, J. D. Gray, Virginia Gray Gunter, Larue "Rookie" Gray, Ray Gray; Chrystal Gray, Legrand Gray, and LeWayne Gray. A visitation will be held 6 - 8 PM on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Floyd Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10am on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 in the chapel of Floyd Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Dennis and Rev. Albert Ivey officiating, Burial will follow in Lake City Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Derek Perra, Joey Hickman, Bryan Coker, Eddie Carver, Jay Dennis, Dustin Parra.
