Sheryl Darlene Floyd Knight

Lake City Sheryl Darlene Floyd Knight, age 58, passed away September 2, 2018 at her home after an illness. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at St. John United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the funeral home. Born in Florence County she was a daughter of the late Clemus Horace Floyd and Myrtle Evelyn Coker Floyd. She was retired from Palmetto Synthetics and was a member of St. John United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Tony Knight; five brothers, Elwood Floyd, Lamar Floyd, Herbert Floyd, J.W. Floyd, and Don Floyd; two sisters, Kathy Floyd, and Paula Anderson. She is survived by two daughters, Haley Knight (Brian) Wilkes of Lake City; Courtney Knight (Jason) Bryant of Turbeville; two sisters, Connie (Ronnie) Mixon, Robin (Junior) Foxworth all of Lake City; five brothers, Raymond Floyd, Rembert Floyd both of Lake City, Wylie (Christine) Floyd of Cades, David Floyd of Lynchburg, and Rev. Richard Floyd of Sumter; three grandchildren, B. J. Wilkes, Raylen Samuel Wilkes, and Emsley Faith Bryant. Memorials may be made to St. John United Methodist Church, 619 S.
