Susan Welch Dorn Florence Susan Welch Dorn, age 68, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at McLeod Hospice House after a lengthy illness. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Florence Baptist Temple with burial in Olanta Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM, June 21, 2018 at Florence Baptist Temple with services following at 11:00 AM at Florence Baptist Temple Auditorium. Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Cohen Welch and Pauline "Polly" Ivey Parker Welch. Her nursing career included 20 years at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Her extended career included Home Health Management until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Cohen Welch, and Billy Welch; one sister, Jemima Welch; one sister-in-law, Jackie Welch. Susan is survived by her husband, Roger Wayne Dorn of Florence; one daughter, Michelle Milliken (Bo) Turner of Florence; one son, Dwight Reynolds (Karen) Milliken, Jr. of Florence; two sisters, Sandra Welch (Don) Elvington of Simpsonville, Jeanne Williams of Gilbert; one brother, Charles D. Welch of Timmonsville; and beloved grand-daughter, Courtney Turner (Kyle) Lewis of Florence.
