Terry Allen Mcknight

LAKE CITY – Terry “TJ” Allen McKnight, 44, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at his residence. Born December 10, 1976, in Florence, he was a son of Terry LeRoy McKnight and Edna Hortensia Miles Coker. He was a former production operator with Nan Ya Plastics Corporation of America in Lake City. He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Alex McKnight (Danielle) of Coward and Jerry Strickland (Linda) of Manning; two sisters, Tara Hill (Bernard) of Turbeville and Tabitha Underwood of Timmonsville; three aunts; two uncles; a number of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mark and Tammy McAlister. He was preceded in death by, Grandma and Grandpa McKnight; Grandma and Grandpa Miles; a sister, Angel Williams; and a nephew, Brady Williams. A funeral service will be held 10 AM on Monday, April 12, 2021, in the Chapel of Floyd Funeral Home with Rev. Becky Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Piney Grove Cemetery, Lake City. Pallbearers will be Jerry Strickland, Sr., Jerry Strickland, Jr., Bobby Joe Williams, Jamie Lee, Cody Williams, Dylan Lee, and Jimmy Hill. A visitation will be held 4 – 6 PM on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at the funeral home.
