Teresa Morris Dukes Turbeville Mrs. Teresa Morris Dukes, age 77, died June 23, 2011 at her home after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock PM Sunday June 26, 2011 at Turbeville Southern Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the home, 3799 Clarence Coker Highway in Turbeville from 6 - 8 PM (tonight) Saturday. Born in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Lucious Morris and Annie Elmore Morris. She was retired from Turbeville Manufacturing Co, and was a member of Turbeville Southern Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Miriam Morris Sunday School Class and also a member of the 60 plus Senior Citizens Club. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Malcolm F. Dukes, Jr. and a brother, Sherwood Morris. Surviving are two daughters, Lynn Dukes (Harry Thames) and Fairey Ann Wiley both of Turbeville. Three sons, Herbert (Brenda) Dukes of Lake City, Chuck (Marie) Dukes and Maxie Dukes all of Turbeville. Two sisters, Elaine M. Lowery of Sumter and Ruth M. Rudd of St. George, two brothers, Autry (Lynette) Morris of New Zion, and Wendell (Carolyn) Morris of Manning. Four grandchildren, Stephen (Wendy) Dukes, Courtney (Travis) Atkinson, Gunner Dukes, and Benjamin Dukes.
