Tiney Brown

Mrs. Tiney Brown Turbeville - Mrs. Tiney Brown age 92, died January 19, 2012 at a Florence nursing facility after an illness. Graveside services will be held at 3 o'clock PM Sunday January 22, 2012 at Gibbons Cemetery Near New Zion, the family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm at the home of Bill and Barbara Brown, 8299 Pudding Swamp Road, Turbeville. Born in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Raleigh Ernest Dubose and Mary Sudie Baird Dubose. She was a retired school cafeteria employee and was a member of New Zion United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jasper Brown, two sons, Randy Brown and Jack Brown, and two grandchildren, Cynthia Thomas and Dickie Wilson. Surviving are two daughters, Beth Copenhaver and Ann Green both of Turbeville, a son, Bill (Barbara) Brown of Turbeville, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
