Vera Elizabeth Springs Olanta Vera E. Springs, age 62, died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. A graveside service will be held at 4 pm Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Lee Cemetery of Scranton, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday night, September 15, 2012 at the funeral home. Born in Williamsburg County she was a daughter of Lamar Barney Miles and Ruth Parker Miles. Mrs. Springs was formerly employed by Avon Dale Manufacturing of Olanta and attended Church of God of Prophecy. She is survived by her husband Samuel Edward Springs, III of Olanta; two sons Samuel T. Springs of Olanta, Scotty D. Springs of Olanta; one sister, Harriett Coker of Effingham; two brothers, William Miles of Olanta and Bud Miles of Kingstree.
