Wayne Anthony Cook

SHARON, SC- Wayne A. Cook, age 60, husband of Patricia Frady Cook, entered his eternal rest on January 21, 2024, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC, surrounded by his family. Born in Richland County, he was the son of the late Thelma Driggers Cook Knotts and Albert Cook. He was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church in Sharon, SC; He worked as a construction manager for Morgan Corp. for 17 1/2 years. He enjoyed his work and thought very highly of the people he worked with. He is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, Jessica Kathleen Cook, Emily Marie Cook of Sharon, SC ; stepfather, Walter Knotts of Turbeville; two grandchildren, Alayna Hines and James Hines; three nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; father; one daughter, Katie Marie Cook; one brother, Willam Cook; one sister, Dale Watford. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Friday January 26, 2024. at the chapel of Floyd Funeral Home, with Reverend Mike Benton, officiating with burial in the Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Turbeville. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Floyd Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends at their home in Sharon on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 2:00 PM until.
