Wilbur "Lucky" Lanier Truluck

SUMMERVILLE – Wilbur Lanier “Lucky” Truluck, 81, widower of Barbara Jones Truluck, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Summerville Community Hospice House. Born, August 26, 1941, in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late Ernest Wilbur Truluck and the late Mary Jane Weaver Truluck. He was a member of Tall Pines Baptist Church in Summerville. A 1959 graduate of Olanta High School, he was a lifelong educator in the Vocational and Technical Educational System, as well as a member of VICA. He is survived by one son, Adam Truluck of Summerville; one daughter, Andrea Donnelly of Summerville; and one granddaughter, Megan Leigh (Danny) Taylor of Tampa, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 58 years; and two brothers, Sutton Truluck and Steven Truluck. A graveside service will be held 2pm at on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive guest following the service. Floyd Funeral Home, 136 E.
