William Salters Atkinson

William Salters Atkinson, age 86, passed away Saturday August 1, 2020 at Lake City Community Hospital, after an illness. A Private Graveside will be held Tuesday at 2pm at Olive Grove FWB Church Cemetery. Born in Florence County he was the son of the late William Thomas Atkinson and Ethel Morris Atkinson. He was preceded in death by one sister, Etheleen Thomas; four brothers, Donnie Atkinson, Glellan Atkinson, Charles Atkinson, and Cecil Atkinson. He is survived by three sisters, Sylvia Thomas and Lois Coker (Ralph) of Turbeville, Rhoetta Olivia of Columbia; two brothers, Bobbie Joe Atkinson (Kathryn) of Kingstree, and J.T. Atkinson (Rhette) of Awendaw. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Floyd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 136 E.
