William Charlton "Bo" Baker

William Charlton 'Bo' Baker William Charlton "Bo" Baker, Jr., 63, died February 21, 2016 at his home in Florence after an illness. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 6 at Floyd Funeral Home in Olanta, SC, with visitation immediately following. Born October 18, 1952 in Florence County, he was the son of the late William Charlton Baker and Janice S. (Baker) Bishop. He graduated from Olanta High School in 1970, and then enrolled at Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC where he received a BS degree in both Political Science and History. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, sporting clays, and snow skiing. Mr. Baker formerly worked as a conductor with CSX Railroad and then as a contractor with FedEx. Surviving are his two sons; William Charlton Baker, III of Florence, Christopher Graham Baker of Mt. Pleasant, one grandson Charlton Gunnar Baker of Florence and a sister Sondra B. Holt of Olanta.
