William Billy E. Cox

LATTA – William “Billy” Evander Cox, Jr. died Thursday, July 21, 2022, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence. Born July 7, 1962 in Florence, he was a son of the late William Evander Cox, Sr. and the late Norma Jean Hutchinson Cox. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his son, Brandon White (Danielle) of Olanta; several grandchildren; one brother, Daniel (Joanne) Cox of Latta; one sister, Ruth Ann Cox Guffey of Florence; a nephew, William A. Guffey of Florence; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Christina Cox. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
