William Ellis Dubose

William Ellis DuBose, Sr. Turbeville Mr. William Ellis DuBose, age 75, died May 11, 2011 at his home after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 2pm, today (Friday, May 13, 2011) at Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to funeral service. Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Judson Wylder DuBose and Rosanna Jane Robinson DuBose. Mr. DuBose retired from Michelin Tire Corporation and he attended Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by six brothers, Keith DuBose, Carlos Vinroe DuBose, Kelly DuBose, Ronald DuBose, Harold DuBose and Billy DuBose. Surviving are his wife, Betty Carter DuBose of Turbeville; Two daughters, Jennifer DuBose Wiley of Jackson, Georgia and Jewell DuBose Williams of Milton, Georgia.; One son, William Ellis DuBose, Jr. of Moscow, Idaho; and five grandchildren.
