William Edward Green Turbeville William Edward "Ed" Green, age 76, passed away July 21, 2018 at his home after an illness. Services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at The Turbeville Southern Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 PM Monday (tonight) at the home, 1294 Olanta Hwy, Turbeville. Born in Clarendon County he was a son of the late Forest Carlisle Green, Sr. and Patricia Smith Green. He was a Retired Head State Technical Board Electrician, a former EMT, a member of the South Carolina National Guard, a charter member of Turbeville Rescue Squad, and a member of The Turbeville Southern Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, William Trey Driggers, III; one sister, Bertie Green. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Locklair Green of the home; one son, Scott (Sarah) Green of Lynchburg; one daughter, Teri (Tony) O'Neal of Turbeville; one sister, Velma G. (Randy) Floyd of Turbeville; three brothers, F. C. (Susan) Green Jr. of Turbeville, Zollie Green of Surfside Beach, Dr. George (Frankie) Green of Turbeville; five grandchildren, Mallory Green, Carly Green,( special grandson) Jeb Green, Tiffany O'Neal, and Alex O'Neal.
