William Henry Green Turbeville----William Henry Green age 71, passed away October 13, 2015 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock PM Friday, October 16, 2015 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM tonight (Thursday) at the funeral home. Born in Florence County, he was a son of the late Jessie Eugene Green and Inez Jeanette Mixon Green. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U. S. Air Force, he was an avid horticulturist, and he served in various community and county leadership positions. Surviving are his wife, Nelda Hoover Green of Turbeville, two daughters, Elizabeth Domnisch of Avondale, Pa., and Laurie Green of New York , NY, one son, William E. "Will" Green of Peachtree City, Ga., two sisters, Jeanette Lee of Lake City, and Marie Hardy of Turbeville, a brother, Johnny Green of Lake City, and six grandchildren.
