William Evander Wayne Scooter Sheffield

EFFINGHAM – William Evander Wayne “Scooter” Sheffield, 29, died Friday, February 26, 2021, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee. Born November 5, 1991, in Florence, SC, he was a son of Melissa Sheffield Cooper and the late Lawrence Kirkland Sanders. He was formerly a forklift operator with McLeod Farms. He is survived by his mother; his foster mother, Jodi Lynn Floyd of Effingham; a son, River Wayne Rocket Sheffield; a companion, Sara Dutton Sheffield; two sisters, Samantha Lowder and Brandi Cooper of the Florence area; two foster sisters, Amber Buddin (David) of Turbeville and Monica Tay Floyd (Leland Pate) of Coward; and four foster brothers, Charles “Les” Reedy (Liz) of Florence, Stanley Turtle of Effingham, Steven Avery of Columbia and Chris Magill of Lake City.
