Stevie Matthews Coward - Stevie Matthews age 43 died February 13, 2018 in a Charleston hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock PM Saturday February 17, 2018 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Miles Cemetery directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home, and Thursday and Friday evenings at 1062 N. Laredo Trail in Scranton. Born in Jacksonville, Florida he was a son of Sharon Elaine Miles (Billy) Tanner and the late Jack Steve Matthews. He was retired from Nan Ya Plastics. He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents, Edward and Frances Miles, and paternal grandparents, Montry and Alma Matthews. Surviving besides his mother of Coward is his wife, Elizabeth "Beth" Floyd Matthews of Coward, two sons, Caleb Matthews and Aden Matthews both of Coward, sisters, Danyell (Derrick) Euten of Coward, Jessica (Brian) Parker and Davette Tanner both of Olanta, Mistey (Jonathan) Burns of Jacksonville, Fl., brother, Billy Joe Tanner of Coward, his other "Momma" Tammy (Steve) Matthews of Coward, and his beloved Aunt Debbie (Larry) Baxley of Scranton.
